STARVING PSYCH GRAD STUDENT (PLNU ALUMNA) SEEKS FREE HOME for sale in San Diego, California

$1

1. I recently read a book that claimed people ought to strive after the most outrageous solutions to their problems, as the unlikeliness of an outrageous request eliminates competitors who have deemed it, respectfully, insane.
2. My problem: I am a 24-year-old female graduate with a BA in Literature who just obtained a research internship in La Jolla. I am currently working toward my Doctorate in Psychology. I am in need of a home in San Diego...where I can live... for free...
I know. It sounds insane.
3. My outrageous prayer: I am hoping (beyond all odds) to find a family, couple, or individual in the San Diego area (La Jolla, Point Loma, South Park, etc...) with either an unoccupied guest house, pool house, or separate unit that they would be willing to allow someone to live in without rent while attending school, working part-time (to cover all other expenses and bills), and working a research internship. Any person willing to consider this will undoubtedly have an incredibly generous heart and a fantastic sense of humor.
4. How this might benefit the right person or family: Many people travel often for work and feel comforted by the knowledge that someone else is on the property during their absence to keep an eye on things. If pets are involved, I love animals and would be happy to feed, water, and walk creatures of any kind while the owner is away. I can also water plants, though I cannot promise I will be able to keep them alive. Furthermore, some people live alone and like the idea of having another person close by who they may call on to perform a variety of helpful tasks, including (but not limited to) changing light bulbs, opening jars, scarring away intruders, or just providing a comforting presence on the premises. I can do all of these things.
5. What you are probably wondering about me:
--I am quiet; there will not be any parties, loud music, smoking, drug abuse, or shenanigans of any kind.
--I am responsible, respectful, clean, and will probably be gone most of the time during the day on weekdays, as my schedule is set to be, for the most part, absolutely packed.
--My family loves me.
--I can recommend a good book.
--Myers-Briggs personality type: INTP.
--Prison record: none.
--Astrological sign: Sagittarius.
--Former university: Point Loma Nazarene University.
--Children: none.
--Social Security Number: ... probably not appropriate just yet
-- As I am sure you have realized, I will never be able to pay back the great blessing that this would be. But I am posting this ad all the same, because every once in awhile, at just the right times, the most outrageous, most unlikely requests are answered.
I hope to hear from you!
